Eric Moreland out for season after shoulder surgery

The Sacramento Kings announced today that rookie forward Eric Moreland underwent successful surgery Saturday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

He will begin rehabilitation immediately and should be ready for NBA Summer League play.

The 6-10 forward totaled two points (1-1 FG) and one rebound in two minutes off the bench in three games with the Kings this season. He averaged 13.7 points (.592 FG%), 12.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in seven contests with the Reno Bighorns.
