Southern Mississippi basketball players Shadell Millinghaus and Dallas Anglin are no longer with the program.
The school issued a short statement confirming the two players had been "released from the men's basketball program, effective immediately."
Coach Doc Sadler said via text message that neither departure was related to the NCAA's current investigation of the men's basketball program.
