Rockets need OT for win despite Harden's 38

James Harden had 38 points before fouling out and Nick Johnson scored on a driving layup with 0.8 seconds to go in overtime that helped the Rockets escape with a 114-112 victory over the Timberwolves on Friday night.

Harden made 11 of 17 shots and also had six assists, but he fouled out with 1:20 to play in regulation and the Rockets let a 13-point lead with 5 minutes to go slip away.

Thaddeus Young had 19 points for the Timberwolves, the last two coming with 15.9 seconds to go in overtime to tie the game at 112. Shabazz Muhammad scored 20 points.

Heat 85 Bucks 109

Kendall Marshall came off the bench and tied his career-high with 20 points on 7 of 8 from the floor, including three big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Miami Heat.

In beating Miami for the second time this season, the Bucks' bench outscored the Heat's bench 60-18, which was led by Marshall, Khris Middleton's 14 points and Jerryd Bayless' 12.

Dwyane Wade matched his season-high with 28 points, but scored only seven in the second half.

Pacers 101 Kings 102 (OT)

Rudy Gay scored 27 points, but it was Carl Landry playing the hero's role by converting the game-winner for the Kings, who beat the struggling Indiana Pacers 102-101 in overtime to stop a four-game losing streak.

Landry grabbed the rebound of a missed 15-foot baseline jumper by Gay, made a quick fake and converted underneath with 0.8 seconds left.

Darren Collison scored 20 points for the Kings. David West scored 14 of his 16 for the Pacers in the final two quarters, and missed on a 29-footer in overtime to end the game.
