Portland limits LeBron to 11 in rout of Cavs

Damian Lillard had a breakthrough with 27 points and Portland regained last season's form with a 101-82 victory.

The Blazers, who snapped a brief two-game losing streak, held LeBron James to just 11 points. Wesley Matthews finished with 21 points for Portland.

Kevin Love had his third straight double-double for Cleveland (1-2) with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Magic 90 Bulls 98

Pau Gasol had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and the Bulls beat the winless Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.

Jimmy Butler led the Bulls with 21 points and Taj Gibson added 16 for Chicago, which finally pulled away in the final minutes of a game that was tied after three quarters.

Joakim Noah was ill and with Gibson battling foul trouble all night, Gasol was asked to carry a heavy load. He did, playing 41 minutes to help Chicago improve to 3-1.

Tobias Harris scored 21 points and Nikola Vucevic had 19 points and 13 rebounds for Orlando.

Gerald Green scored 26 points off the bench, Markieff Morris had 23 points and 10 rebounds, and the Suns overcame Kobe Bryant's 39-point performance to keep the Lakers winless.

Isaiah Thomas scored 22 points in a reserve role for Phoenix, which survived a dicey fourth quarter to beat the Lakers for the second time in seven days.

Bryant went 14 for 37 for the Lakers, who are off to their first 0-5 start since the 1957-58 Minneapolis Lakers lost their first seven games.

Anthony Davis had 24 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks, and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Charlotte Hornets.

Tyreke Evans added 16 points and 10 rebounds in New Orleans' first victory since its season opener. Al Jefferson led the Hornets with 20 points.
