Andrea Bargnani has been sidelined since straining his right hamstring during the first preseason game on Oct. 8, and the Knicks say he will miss at least the first three games of 2014-15 beginning with Wednesday night's opener against Chicago.
"I wouldn't necessarily like to put him in that position without some quality practice time, put him into a game situation," Derek Fisher said Sunday..
Starting point guard Jose Calderon, who missed the final two preseason games with a calf injury, said he's "improving" and that he'll "hopefully" start Wednesday.
