David West will miss the final two preseason games but expects to be ready for the Pacers' home opener Oct. 29. Rodney Stuckey will also miss the rest of the preseason.
West sustained his injury when he landed wrong on his right ankle during the Dallas Mavericks preseason game on Saturday. An x-ray that night showed only a sprain and that diagnosis was confirmed by an MRI Monday.
Stuckey will be out for the rest of preseason with a right foot strain. Stuckey played through the injury initially but the soreness increased.
