Ginobili already nursing aches, pains

Although Manu Ginobili said he feels “pretty good” after the Spurs’ recent European trip, he also acknowledged that, little more than two weeks into his 13th NBA season, he’s already suffering from the type of aches and pains that have been such a problem throughout his career.

Specifically, the Achilles and small toe in his left foot, and an overall lack of fitness after a summer of minimal activity to let the aforementioned fracture heal.

All that said, Ginobili said his condition continues to improve as camp wears on in advance of the season opener against Dallas on Oct. 28.
