Cavs games to be broadcast in Spanish

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement with Murray Hill Broadcasting’s 87.7 FM La Mega to broadcast all 2014-15 regular season and post-season games in Spanish.

It is the first time in club history that Cavs games will be broadcast in a second language and offers fans in the fast-growing northeast Ohio Hispanic market a chance to follow the team on Cleveland’s first Spanish radio station.

With this announcement, the Cavaliers become one of six NBA teams to provide Spanish coverage of all home and road matchups live from the game site. The other NBA teams are San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Miami and Orlando.

Veteran broadcaster Rafael Hernandez Brito will bring his high energy play-by-play style to each game broadcast.
