The Memphis Grizzlies waived forward Michael Beasley, the team announced today.
Beasley’s agent Jared Karnes confirmed that his client left Grizzlies training camp to sign a one-year deal with the Shanghai Sharks of the China Basketball Association.
Memphis signed Beasley (6-9, 235) as a free agent to a non-guaranteed contract on Sept. 25.
