NBA suspends Mavericks’ Raymond Felton for four games

Dallas Mavericks point guard Raymond Felton has been suspended without pay by the NBA for the first four games of the 2014-15 season for pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm in New York.

Felton said last month that he expected the issue to be behind him and for his community service (500 hours) to be completed before the start of the season.

The incident for which Felton was arrested occurred in February.
