The New Orleans Pelicans announced Friday that the team has acquired guard/forward Alonzo Gee in exchange for future draft considerations.
Gee (6-6, 220) has appeared in 277 games (173 starts) over the course of five NBA seasons and holds career averages of 7.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24.1 minutes per game.
In 2013-14, the five-year veteran appeared in 65 contests (24 starts) for the Cleveland Cavaliers and averaged 4.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 15.7 minutes per game.
