Forward Joe Thomas is transferring from Niagara to play for the Miami Hurricanes in 2014-15, and he will have one year of eligibility.
The 6-foot-7, 235-pound Thomas averaged 3.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 30 games last season at Niagara and led the Purple Eagles in blocks.
