Expect a number of players from today's small forward group to be in play once the Celtics get around to using the 17th pick in the draft.
The group included Kyle Anderson (UCLA), Cleanthony Early (Wichita State), P.J. Hairston (North Carolina/Texas Legends of the NBADL), T.J. Warren (NC State), DeAndre Daniels (UConn) and K.J. McDaniels (Clemson).
The Celtics' workout marquee is expected to brighten next week, when candidates for the sixth pick in the June 26 NBA draft are due to work out at the team's Waltham practice facility. The dates for those workouts are June 12 and 13, though player personnel director Austin Ainge stopped short of giving names.
