There is mutual interest between former Memphis coach Lionel Hollins and the Cavaliers, an NBA source said on Monday, but no interview has been scheduled as the Cavs' search for a head coach to replace Mike Brown entered its second week.
Hollins, the longtime Portland Trail Blazer player who had a 196-159 coaching record in Memphis, has been contacted about most of the NBA openings, the source said, except those in New York and Los Angeles (Lakers).
