Iowa State basketball player Abdel Nader was suspended from the team after he was charged by Iowa State Police with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to online records.
Nader, a Northern Illinois transfer who sat out last season, was stopped at 11:41 p.m. Saturday, according to the police record.
