Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham was charged Friday in Hennepin County District Court with felony domestic assault at his Medina home.
Cunningham, 26, was arrested early Thursday at his residence in the 400 block of Medina Road. He was released from Hennepin County jail Friday evening; bail had been set at $40,000.
According to the criminal complaint, the woman called 911 early Thursday to say Cunningham had tried to strangle her. When police arrived, they found she had redness and marks on her neck.
