The Orlando Magic's Victor Oladipo and the Memphis Grizzlies' Nick Calathes were named the Kia NBA Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for games played in February.
Oladipo ranked first among NBA rookies in assists (4.9 apg) and steals (1.92 spg), second in points (14.7 ppg), and fifth in rebounds (4.4 rpg).
Calathes ranked second among Western Conference rookies in scoring (10.7 ppg) and assists (4.6 apg), and tied for second in rebounds (3.6 rpg). Among all first-year players, he ranked second in field goal percentage (.495) and steals (1.75 spg).
Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month were New York's Tim Hardaway Jr., Philadelphia's Michael Carter-Williams, Portland's C.J. McCollum and Utah's Trey Burke.
