Veteran guard Chauncey Billups underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, the Detroit Pistons announced Thursday.
The procedure smoothed irregularities in the meniscus and alleviated pain and inflammation. Billups will begin rehabilitation immediately and will be re-evaluated again in two or three weeks.
