MRI of Marc Gasol's knee reveals no structural damage

The result of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan on Grizzlies center Marc Gasol's left knee was 'clean' and revealed no structural damage, according to a source with knowledge of the results.

Although Gasol still is experiencing swelling and pain, he did not re-injure the medial collateral ligament as originally feared.

Gasol will be examined by team doctors on Monday to determine if he'll require time off.
