Trail Blazers back-up big man Joel Freeland suffered a MCL sprain Tuesday night against the Thunder and is expected to miss 4-8 weeks, the team announced.
Freeland suffered the injury in the first quarter when fighting for position for a rebound with Thunder reserve Steven Adams.
Freeland has averaged 3.3 points per game and 3,9 rebounds in 51 games this season.
