Knicks' Smith fractures cheek bone, will play with mask

New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith suffered a minor fracture in his left cheekbone in Sunday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Smith was injured with 7:25 left in the fourth quarter of the 112-100 loss when his face collided with Thunder forward Kevin Durant’s knee.

Smith was fitted for a facemask on Tuesday and is expected to play on Wednesday night.
