Jose Calderon was discussing the NBA’s decision not to have the best 3-point shooter from last season in the All-Star Weekend 3-point shootout when Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle walked by and said: “Snubbed.”
“I’d love to be there,” Calderon said. “It would be a great opportunity. But it’s OK. I think the rest will be good as well. Maybe next year I’ll get the opportunity."
Added Carlisle: “It’s disappointing. We all would have loved to see him go. And I think he’d have had a great chance to win."
