Team officials informed the 23-year-old swingman of their decision to retain him hours before his second 10-day contract expired Thursday night.
Johnson is averaging 7.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1 steal over 21.6 minutes per game in eight appearances.
