Reserve center Ronny Turiaf could start contact practices "in the next few days," Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman said Thursday.
"Not 5 on 5, but he will be doing some contact," Adelman said. Turiaf, 30, fractured his right elbow in the second game of the season.
Meanwhile, the timeline remains slow for forward Chase Budinger, who was cleared for full-contact practices Dec. 18.
