The likelihood that the Mavericks will be without point guard Devin Harris beyond Christmas increased Tuesday.
Harris reported pain and swelling in his left big toe after going through a practice. Harris had surgery on the toe in July and returned to practice Dec. 2.
“We’re trying to gauge that, where it’s coming from,” Harris said of the discomfort in the toe. “Once we figure that out, we can get a better feel for where we are.”
