Kevin Larsen gave George Washington the lead with 1:03 left in the game and the Colonials held off No. 18 Creighton for a 60-53 victory that gave them third place in the Wooden Legacy on Sunday night.
The Colonials took advantage of an off night by Doug McDermott, who came in averaging nearly 28 points per game but finished with seven.
Ethan Wragge scored 16 and Grant Gibbs had 12 for the Bluejays (5-2).
