Bledsoe's MRI negative, but Suns guard remains sidelined

Eric Bledsoe dressed but wasn't expected to play when the Suns hosted the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday. For those keeping track, that's six straight games he's been sidelined because of a bruised shin.

Bledsoe, who suffered the injury when he and PJ Tucker collided in practice on Nov. 17, underwent an MRI earlier in the day. It was considered precautionary.

"It didn't show anything besides what they knew already; just a contusion," head coach Jeff Hornacek said.

Bledsoe remains day-to-day. The hope is he'll be back sooner rather than later.
