Knicks' Metta World Peace reveals he's had left knee drained

The Knicks kept offseason knee surgeries on Amar’e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert a secret.

Now, Metta World Peace said he had his left knee drained on Monday and the day before the Knicks played the Spurs on Nov. 10. He returned Wednesday night against the Pacers after missing the previous two games and scored two points.

World Peace had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in late March while he was with the Lakers.
