Marcus Smart, Oklahoma State crushes Memphis

No. 7 Oklahoma State beat No. 11 Memphis, 101-80, Tuesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena to move to 4-0. The Tigers dropped to 1-1 with the loss.

Marcus Smart attacked Memphis’ defense from the jump, making six of eight shots in the first half for 26 points – two short of his career-high for an entire game.

Smart finished with 39 points, tying the sophomore school record set in 1980 by Matt Clark, five rebounds and five steals.
