Guard Ja'Quan Newton of Philadelphia and three other players have signed national letters of intent to play basketball for the Miami Hurricanes.
James Palmer of Washington, D.C., Omar Sherman of Duncanville, Texas, and Ivan Cruz Uceda of Madrid, Spain, have also signed with the Hurricanes, the school said Thursday.
