Charlotte Hornets forward Jeff Taylor was sentenced to 18 months of probation on Thursday in connection with a domestic violence conviction, according to multiple media reports.
Television news station WILX reported that as a part of the probation, Taylor must complete 26 weeks in a batterer’s intervention program. He must also enter an outpatient alcohol treatment program and perform self-tests for alcohol use several times a day.
On Wednesday, Taylor, 25, pleaded guilty in East Lansing, Mich., to the domestic violence charge and to malicious destruction of property, also a misdemeanor.
