The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard Derrick Rose. Terms were not announced but the deal is for one year and a veterans minimum salary of $2.1 million.

The Brooklyn Nets have acquired guard/forward Allen Crabbe from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for forward Andrew Nicholson.
Injuries
Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight has sustained a torn ACL in his left knee and will undergo surgery. He is expected to miss the 2017-18 season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Tyler Ennis. Ennis appeared in 22 games (two starts) for the Lakers last season.

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived guard Quinn Cook and guard/forward Axel Toupane. Cook appeared in nine games last season and Toupane in two.
