Vince Carter agrees to one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings

Free-agent forward Vince Carter, an eight-time All-Star and the oldest player in the NBA at 40, has agreed to a one-year, $8 million deal with the Sacramento Kings, his agents confirmed.

Carter joins a Sacramento free-agency class that includes his ex-Memphis Grizzlies teammate Zach Randolph and guard George Hill.

This will be Carter's 20th season in the NBA. He has averaged 18.2 points across his NBA career, including 8.0 points per game in 24.7 minutes for the Grizzlies last season.
