Gordon Hayward announced Tuesday that he's going to play for the Celtics, choosing their maximum-contract offer over those from the Utah Jazz, his team since 2010, and the Miami Heat.
The 6-foot-8 small forward has agreed to a four-year, $128 million deal, according to sources.
The deal also includes a player option for the final year.
Hayward has improved his scoring average each season, topping out at 21.9 points per game last season.
