The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a contract with free-agent point guard Jose Calderon, his agency announced Saturday.
Calderon will sign a one-year, $2.3 million deal for the veteran's minimum and become the team's backup point guard behind Kyrie Irving.
A 12-year veteran, Calderon averaged 3.4 points and 2.1 assists in 41 games with the Lakers and Hawks last season.
