Memphis Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace met with the media Monday and updated the status of forward Chandler Parsons, who had surgery in March to fix the partial tear of the medial meniscus in his left knee.
"We expect Chandler to be here fully participating in training camp in late September. We’re optimistic about him this year," Wallace told.
Parsons had an injury-plagued first season with the Grizzlies after signing a four-year, $94 million contract. In 34 appearances, Parsons averaged just 6.2 points and 2.5 rebounds.
