Former NBA head coaches Al Attles and Hubie Brown were awarded the Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award before the start of the Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday.
Rick Carlisle, head coach of the Dallas Mavericks and president of the National Basketball Coaches Association, presented the award.
Attles, 80, coached the Golden State Warriors from 1969-70 until 1982-83 and guided the team to the NBA championship in 1974-75 with a four-game sweep of the Washington Bullets.
Brown, 83, who currently broadcasts NBA games for ESPN/ABC, was an NBA head coach for 13 seasons, with the Hawks, Knicks and Grizzlies.
