The Charlotte Hornets have declined the team option on forward Christian Wood for the 2017-'18 season, making Wood an unrestricted free agent.
Wood played in 13 games with the Hornets in 16-17 after spending 15-16 with the Phoenix Suns. He averaged 2.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 8.2 minutes per contest.
