The Brooklyn Nets have signed free agent guard Spencer Dinwiddie.
Dinwiddie has appeared in 46 career NBA games over two seasons with the Detroit Pistons (2014-16), recording averages of 4.4 points, 2.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 13.3 minutes per game.
He has also appeared in 29 games over three seasons in the NBA D-League with Detroit’s affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive, and Chicago’s affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, registering averages of 15.8 points, 6.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game.
In nine games with Windy City this season, Dinwiddie averaged 19.4 points, 8.1 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 37.4 minutes per contest. The California native was selected 38th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by Detroit after a three-year career at the University of Colorado.
Brooklyn’s roster now stands at 15 players.
