New York Knicks President Phil Jackson announced Tuesday that the team has re-signed forward Cleanthony Early. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Early, 6-8, 210-pounds, averaged 1.8 points in 17 games for New York during his second NBA season in 2015-16, a year shortened by a right knee injury. He was assigned to the NBA D-League’s Westchester Knicks on four separate occasions, averaging 15.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in seven appearances.
The Bronx, NY-native was originally drafted by New York in the second round (34th overall) of the 2014 NBA Draft.
