The Utah Jazz announced Friday that the team has signed free agent forward Eric Dawson. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Dawson (6-9, 255, Midwestern State) most recently played for the Blackwater Elite in the Philippines, averaging 18.2 points, 15.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.2 blocks in 38.8 minutes per game in six games (all starts). He also spent part of the 2015-16 season with Paris-Levallois in France’s Pro A league.
He appeared in four games for the San Antonio Spurs during the 2011-12, averaging 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per contest. Additionally, Dawson has appeared for 11 clubs in eight countries.
