Overseas two-year pro Mike Moser and undrafted rookies Shaquille Harrison and Derrick Jones Jr. will join 15 contract players when Suns training camp opens Sept. 27 in Flagstaff.
They likely will stay at higher in-state elevation for the inaugural season of the Northern Arizona Suns, Phoenix’s D-League affiliate in Prescott Valley.
After going undrafted, Moser, a 6-foot-8 power forward, played in Lithuania in 2014-15 and logged 19 games in Israel in 2015-16.
Jones, 19, averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 21.5 minutes per game over 30 appearances for UNLV. But just before the end of the regular season, the NCAA nullified Jones’ ACT score who became a non-qualifier to end his season.
Harrison, who turns 23 on Oct. 6, is the first Tulsa player to start every game of his four-year career but went undrafted in June. He averaged 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals last season at Tulsa.
