The Warriors announced the signing of free agent forward Elgin Cook, and free agent guard Cameron Jones. The team’s roster currently stands at 19 players.
Jones, 27, has played professionally the last five seasons in the NBA Development League and overseas. In three seasons in the D-League, the Northern Arizona product averaged 15.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.13 steals and 30.6 minutes over 147 games with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Santa Cruz Warriors. Last season, the 6’4” guard played in Israel and Greece.
Cook, 23, went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft after a three-year career at the University of Oregon. In 2015-16, the 6’6” forward averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.42 steals in 31.9 minutes over 38 games. He played in the 2016 NBA Summer League with Sacramento, averaging 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 15.2 minutes over four games.
