Thunder acquires Joffrey Lauvergne from Denver

The Oklahoma City Thunder has acquired forward Joffrey Lauvergne from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for two protected 2017 second round draft picks, Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced today.

In two seasons with the Nuggets, Lauvergne appeared in 83 games (16 starts) and averaged 6.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game.

Earlier this month, Lauvergne helped lead the French National Team to a 3-3 record in the Rio Olympics after registering averages of 9.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game.
