The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Zach Auguste, it was announced today by General Manager Mitch Kupchak. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
The 6’10’’ Auguste played four seasons at Notre Dame, averaging 14.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game as a senior in 2015-16 en route to a Third Team All-ACC selection.
The 23-year-old shot 56.7% from the field in his 128-game career at Notre Dame, and led the ACC in rebounding as a senior, highlighted by a career-best 22 rebound performance against Duke in the 2016 ACC Tournament.
The Lakers training camp roster currently stands at 16.
