Forward Alonzo Gee, who opted out of his contract last month to become an unrestricted free agent, is expected to agree to a one-year, league minimum contract to return to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Last month, Gee opted out of his two-year, $2.7 million contract that he signed last summer to test and free agency and possibly get a more lucrative deal.
Gee did not attract a lot of attention on the open market, but the Pelicans regard him highly.
