The Miami Heat announced Sunday that they have re-signed forward Udonis Haslem. He has agreed upon a one-year, $4 million deal with the team, the Miami Herald reports.
Haslem, a three-time NBA Champion, has played his entire 13-year NBA career with the Heat, appearing in 814 regular season games (498 starts) and has averaged 7.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 26.1 minutes while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 75.7 percent from the foul line.
The Miami native is the franchise all-time leader in offensive, defensive and total rebounds. He’s the only undrafted player in NBA history to lead a franchise in total rebounds.
Haslem has served as captain of the Heat each of the past nine seasons, the longest tenure in franchise history.
