The Cleveland Cavaliers will exercise their 2016-17 team option on guard Jordan McRae, according to league sources.
McRae's salary will be at a shade under $1 million guaranteed. The organization faced a deadline of June 29 to either allow the 25-year-old guard to walk in free agency this off-season or pick up his option.
In 15 appearances for the Cavaliers, he posted numbers of 4.1 points and shot 64 percent from long distance.
