Cavaliers set NBA single-game record with 25 3-pointers made

The Cleveland Cavaliers set an NBA record with 25 threes splashed in a game (regular season or playoff) that fueled a 123-98 rout of the Hawks in Game 2 of the semifinals round.

The Houston Rockets in 2009 and Orlando Magic in 2013 owned the all-time triple feat at 22 in the regular season. The previous playoff record was still young with the Golden State Warriors holding the mark of 21 only a week and three days.

It was an outside shooting assault. Cleveland (2-0) made it 10 straight victories over Atlanta (0-2).
