Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade became the 41st NBA player to reach 20,000 career regular-season points Saturday night when he scored his 13th point against the Cleveland Cavaliers at AmericanAirlines Arena, on a four-foot floater with 10:18 to play in the third quarter.
Wade, in his 13th season, became the ninth active player to reach 20,000 points, joining friends LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, among others.
